Abit Güner was born in Trabzon in 1947. He attended secondary school at Trabzon High School. After his military service, he went to Germany and setted there as an immigrant worker. His frequent visits to German Museums influenced him to a great extent and encouraged him to be more prolific. Then he vised famous museums in Europe where he examined many works of art. In addition to private exhibitions at Hanau Gallery and Auktion Gallery in Germany, he showed his paintings in many art galleries as well as in group exhibitions. After his definete return to Turkey, he carried on painting in his studio in Trabzon. He also took part in exhibitions in collaboration with other artists (co-exhibitions ? or mixed exhibitions ?). He is marriedand has two children.
